Jeremiah 51 – 52

Jeremiah 51 – 52

Today, we are reading the last two chapters of Jeremiah. The main thing to take away from this is in Jeremiah 51:5 – “For the Lord of Heaven’s Armies has not abandoned Israel and Judah. He is still their God, even though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.” I believe that this is as true today as it was then.

Jeremiah also tells the people to flee Babylonia because he is sending the Medes to destroy them. He sends this message on a scroll from Jerusalem to King Zedekiah in Babylon. This was Jeremiah’s last message.

The last chapter is an account of the destruction of the Temple – on August 17 of the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzars’s reign.

Tomorrow, we’ll be reading Lamentations 1:1 – 3:36.

2016: Obama’s America

Today, I went to AMC and saw Dinesh D’Souza’s 2016: Obama’s America. It is a troubling film about what drives Barack Obama to govern the way he has. Please go to see this movie if you get a chance. It’s informative and well-documented.

Until next time…
