Occupy Wall Street

Yesterday was day 25 of Occupy Wall Street. Isn’t it funny how many Hollywood celebrities, who would must certainly be considered rich, have shown up in support of the group. I also heard that Diane Sawyer reported there are currently such protests in at least 1000 countries (it should be noted that there are not even 200 countries in the world).

We’ve heard that our government has foiled a plot to assassinate the Saudi Ambassador and the Israeli Ambassador and perhaps thousands of Americans.  These people were in league with Mexican drug cartels. Doesn’t this make it even more important to protect our borders? Suppose the plot had not been foiled! And there is still one of these dangerous men out there.

Today, the library didn’t open until noon so I spent the morning reading and then visiting my cousin Richard. I’m now at the library watching GBTV. He’s got a guy explaining the difference between capitalism and communism/socialism.

Last week, I bought one of those Eggies. I really like the results.

Before I had remembered I wanted to take a picture, I had cut all of them in half except for one. As you can see they don’t come out in the shape we are used to, but other than that, there is no difference. This is truly one of those “As Seen On TV” products that really works.

Did you all see NCIS last night? I wonder how the whole Abby’s brother thing will work out.

How great that Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit is going to be released after more than 1900 days. Imagine 1000 people given in exchange for you; that’s how many were traded for Gilad.

Until next time…
