This morning, I remade my Aunt Ruth’s Date-Nut Cookies. They are absolutely delicious. They are shaken in a bag with confectioners’ sugar once they are cooled after coming out of the oven. I pre-heated the oven for my second batch of cookies (Mom’s Peanut Butter Cookies) and then found they have to be refrigerated for at least 3 hours. They are not my favorite cookie, but they turned out pretty well as you can see by the picture: |
I certainly like the date-nut cookies better, but both were pretty good.
